HOOVER DAM, NEVADA/ ARIZONA
16.000 workers built the Hoover Dam (223 meters high) and 96 of them died. The concrete that was used to build this dam would have been enough to build a 4 lane highway from Paris to Moscow. |
The towers you see here are 120 meters high. Lake Mead is the largest artificial lake in the USA. Its coastline measures about 1.300 kms. The depth is approx. 150 meters. |
