BRECKENRIDGE, COLORADO Yes, we went skiing/snowboarding in the Rockies.

I prefered skiing...
We nearly spent the whole day in Breckenridge. First it was a bit exhausting, because we were not used to this height (approx. 3.500 m above sea level). But it was fun and we improved our skills a lot in the end. Most we tried expert trails. Sometimes it took a while but I succeeded! |

BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARK, UTAH
This National Park has a huge collection of sandstone spires, called hoodoos by the indians. Looks like a fairy land. It is really impressive to hike into the "canyon" (it is not a canyon) and stand in the narrow Wall Street and look up to the sky. |
Landscapes like paintings by Caspar David Friedrich
Sometimes I was wondering whether I was dreaming. A wonderful dream...

There are so many stunning view points.
From nearly every viewpoint you can take excellent pictures. |
ZION NATIONAL PARK, UTAH
There is a nice hiking trail trough the Narrows. Unfortunately it was icy and this trail was closed. (At some places you have to walk through Virgin River)
